How do you reach Murrayfield by helicopter?
Helicopter charter to Murrayfield means a flight to Edinburgh Airport and a car. We do not hold a landing site at the stadium, and the ground is in a residential part of the west of the city, so the airport at Ingliston is the practical landing point. It is open 24 hours for air traffic, customs and immigration, handling and security, and has a business aviation centre. Parking is limited, so every aircraft is cleared in advance with a handling agent, which we book.
Charter-A Helicopter is the helicopter charter service of Charter-A Ltd, which has arranged private flights across the UK and Europe since 2011. The airport is general-aviation friendly: general aviation is exempt from the airline slot rules, though night noise limits apply. See helicopter charter Edinburgh.

Rugby days and corporate groups
Scotland's home internationals, including the Six Nations, are the main Murrayfield dates, with concerts through the summer. Tickets and hospitality are arranged through the stadium and the union; we arrange the travel. A match day for clients typically involves an arrival by late morning, lunch, the match and a car back to the airport, and the heli returns the same evening. Edinburgh is open 24 hours, so an evening departure is realistic.
For other Scottish days, see the Royal Highland Show, St Andrews and the events hub. Business helicopter charter explains the corporate process.
Planning notes
Arrive 10 minutes before departure and keep bags soft. Scottish weather can change the picture on the day, and we check the forecast on the day before and on the morning. If the flight is cancelled because of the weather, you pay nothing.
Executive Global Travel can arrange cars. See the Scotland region page for the other bases.
